Frostic School of Art Video and Sound Art Series


Submissions

Submissions of digital video and/or sound art are welcome for the Frostic Video and Sound Art Series and are accepted by mail or email. Submissions are ongoing.

In addition to the Frostic Video and Sound Art Series, submissions are also welcome for the 17 Days Video Series and future curated video loops (example Plus 3 Ferris Wheels or Ritual and Repetition).

For submissions by email:

• Provide website link to video
• Artist Statement (pdf)
• Short Bio or CV (pdf)
• Inventory that includes title, run time and year completed for work submitted (pdf)
• Please note if you would like to be considered for the Frostic Video and Sound Art Series and/or 17 Days and/or future loops.
• Email to: adriane.little@wmich.edu
• Please write Video Submission in the subject line

For submissions by mail:

• Video samples on dvd
• Artist Statement
• Short Bio or CV
• Video inventory that includes title, run time and year completed for work submitted
• Please note if you would like to be considered for the Frostic Video and Sound Art Series and/or 17 Days and/or future loops.
• SASE if requesting preview dvd to be returned

Please Note: At this time, we are unable to present videos that charge a fee for viewing.

Please Also Note: if your video is selected we will require the following by a signed submission form:

• Screening copy of video – looping dvd (or quicktime file in the case of a looped exhibition)
• 4-5 still images per video, statement and permission to post on blog created for the exhibition
• Permission to allow the work to travel if the opportunity presents itself
